Sanitation Department - Recycling
The City of Arkadelphia is taking applications for a full-time Recycling position within the Sanitation Department. Must be a High School graduate or a GED recipient and preferably with a CDL B driver’s license. If applicant has no preferred license, applicant must be able to obtain a CDL B within 6 months of hire date. Must pass a pre- employment drug. Must also have the ability to perform manual physical labor and to tolerate extreme weather conditions. The City of Arkadelphia is accepting applications for one (1) full-time Fire Fighter. Applicant must be 21 years of age with a high school diploma, or equivalent, and a valid Arkansas Driver’s License. A certified Fire Fighter I and II is desired, but not required. Base salary for a Fire Fighter is $28,722 plus $800 uniform allowance and $2,051 for holiday pay for a total of $31,573. Human Resources Manager
The City of Arkadelphia is accepting applications for the position of Human Resource Manager. Successful applicants should have a BS/MS or equivalent in Human Resources or related field. Experience preferred. Responsible to oversee all aspects of Human Resources practices and processes including but not limited to: human resource management, job design, recruitment, performance management, strategic planning, training and development, compliance and facilities management. The position will support business needs and ensure the proper implementation of company strategy and the governing body’s objectives.
