Racial and cultural Diversity Committee (RCDC)
The Racial and Cultural Diversity Committee was created in 2011 by the City of Arkadelphia by Ordinance O-11-03 to "promot[e] equal opportunity and the full exercise of civil rights for all citizens of the city. It is committed to dismantling racism and reducing prejudice within the city through modeling, education and policy development." Members of the committee are diverse and representative of the Arkadelphia community. Committee members are selected and approved for a four year term of service, meeting monthly to achieve committee goals.
